  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup pasta (penne or rotini)
  • ½ cup honey
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 slices ciabatta or panini bread
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  • Season chicken with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Heat olive oil in a pan and cook chicken until golden and cooked through. Slice into strips.
  • In a saucepan, mix honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Simmer until thickened.
  • Toss cooked chicken in honey pepper glaze.
  • In a separate pan, melt butter and add heavy cream, Parmesan, and black pepper. Stir until smooth.
  • Mix cooked pasta with the creamy sauce.
  • Spread mayonnaise and Dijon mustard on ciabatta slices.
  • Assemble the panini with glazed chicken and toast until crispy.
